HSR Earth Day Recycling Drive in Port Coquitlam

Earth Day is a reminder that small actions add up to big impact!

This year, HSR Services was proud to celebrate Earth Day by hosting our Earth Month Recycling & Donation Drive at our Port Coquitlam warehouse. The goal was simple: make it easy for the community to recycle responsibly while turning that effort into meaningful local impact.

A Community Effort That Made a Difference

We want to say a sincere thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by, drop off materials, and support this initiative.

Because of your participation, we were able to collect:

Electronics and small appliances
Batteries
Light bulbs
Scrap metal

Together, these materials were diverted from landfill and properly processed through responsible recycling channels.

Turning Recycling Into Local Impact

Thanks to the materials collected, HSR Services is pleased to donate $200 to the Port Coquitlam Foundation.

This donation supports a wide range of local programs that benefit the community, making your participation go even further.

This is what Earth Day is all about:
Taking action locally and creating real impact together.

Why Events Like This Matter

Many everyday items like batteries, electronics, and light bulbs cannot go into regular recycling streams. Without proper disposal, they can harm the environment.

Events like this help:

Keep hazardous materials out of landfill
Make recycling more accessible
Educate the community on proper disposal
Support local organizations through donations

Thank You, Port Coquitlam

We are incredibly grateful for the support from the community, as well as our partners who helped spread the word and make this event possible.

Your participation made this event a success, and we look forward to building on this momentum in the future.
